01 - 2 ripe canned or poached pear halves, drained
02 - 4 large lettuce leaves
03 - 1 medium carrot, peeled

04 - 4 tbsp cottage cheese

05 - 8 mini raisins or currants (for eyes)
06 - 4 sliced almonds (for ears)
07 - 4 maraschino cherries or red grapes (for noses)
08 - 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, for tails)

# Directions:

01 - Arrange the lettuce leaves on four small salad plates to form a grassy base.
02 - Place a pear half, cut side down, onto each lettuce leaf to form the bunny's body.
03 - Add a small mound of cottage cheese at the narrow end of each pear for the tail. If desired, add a dab of mayonnaise for extra fluffiness.
04 - Slice the carrot thinly into rounds, then cut small feet and whiskers for each bunny using a paring knife.
05 - Use sliced almonds to create upright bunny ears at the wider end of each pear.
06 - Add two raisins or currants for eyes and a cherry or grape for the nose.
07 - Position the carrot feet and whiskers at the front. Serve immediately.
