# Directions:

01 - Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble once cooled.
02 - Combine sour cream, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in medium mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and well combined.
03 - Gently fold in crumbled bacon, green onions, and chives, reserving small portion of each for garnish.
04 - Transfer to serving bowl and top with reserved bacon, green onions, and chives. Serve with potato chips or refrigerate up to 24 hours for enhanced flavor.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Takes barely 20 minutes from start to finish and most of that is just waiting for bacon to cook
  • Gets even better if you make it ahead and let those flavors hang out together overnight
02 -
  • Cold dip straight from the fridge has better texture and flavor, so don't be afraid to make it the night before
  • Room temperature cream cheese is absolutely essential or you'll end up with tiny unappealing chunks floating around
03 -
  • Chill your serving bowl for 15 minutes before adding the dip to keep it cold longer during parties
  • Cook an extra slice of bacon just to crumble on top right before serving for that fresh crispy texture
