01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and set a wire rack on top.
02 - Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
03 - Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
04 - In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
05 - When the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the warm BBQ sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
06 - Arrange the sauced wings on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with celery and carrot sticks, if desired.
